The Freedom Celebration will include activities fun for every age group, including a water slide, bounce house, cake walk, corn hole tournament, dominos, carnival games, food and much more. VFW Freedom Celebration honors service members on Independence Day(KBTX) By Anna Maynard Published: Jul. 4, 2024 at 3:05 PM CDT BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - The VFW Post 4692 beat the heat this 4th of July at their annual Freedom Celebration, while also honoring the servicemen and women that helped secure our freedom. Spirits were high inside the VFW, with a corn hole tournament, cake walk and other activities kept guests of all ages entertained. “My favorite part is I love fireworks, and I love being here, and I love getting prizes,” five-year-old Emilia said. For VFW Post Commander Leo Rivera, it signifies more than just celebrating the 4th of July, it’s about honoring those who protect the freedom being celebrated.
