VETERAN FINANCIAL RELIEF ASSISTANCE

Relief Assistance - VFW Post 4692 Brazos Valley

Relief Assistance for Veterans

VFW Post 4692 Brazos Valley is committed to supporting our fellow veterans and their families in times of unexpected hardship. Through our Relief Committee, we provide financial assistance to veterans residing in Brazos County, offering relief for urgent needs beyond their control.

Our Purpose

The Relief Committee was established to administer the Post Relief Fund, helping veterans and their immediate families manage emergencies. Eligible family members include legal spouses, dependent children (up to 23 years of age), parents, and current in-law parents. Our goal is to address unforeseen circumstances requiring immediate action, providing a compassionate hand in times of urgent need.

Important Notes

Please note that this is not an entitlement program based solely on veteran status. Each application is reviewed carefully, and decisions are final and not subject to appeal. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your service.

Application Process

To apply, complete the full application and provide as much detail as possible, along with supporting documentation. Applications without proper documentation cannot be processed. Supporting documents must verify the requested amount of assistance.

Submit only one application per family each year (rolling 12-month period). Unfortunately, we cannot accept requests for the same financial hardship more than once. Documents can be emailed to vfwpost4692@hotmail.com.
